Specialized R&D Facility: University of Colorado Health Sciences Center

109,838 sq ft Renovations, Denver, Colo.

Over a 10-year period Fransen Pittman completed multiple laboratory research facilities at the Health Sciences Center campus, including those for the chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry and pharmaceutical departments. All laboratories were built to similar specifications with solid epoxy tops, natural birch cabinets and Unistrut framed shelving racks. The mechanical requirements included filtered air, fume hoods, acid resistant piping and medical gasses.
