Wright Farms Branch, Rangeview Library District

Anythink Wright Farms -- LEED Gold

The Wright Farms branch is the largest of Rangeview Library District branches and houses the District’s administrative offices. Library features include a cyber café, computer lab, staff offices and work rooms, group study and tutoring areas, and designated spaces for children, teen and adult services. Additional amenities include children’s story-telling areas and outdoor reading gardens.

The project achieved LEED Gold certification. Sustainable design elements include maximization of open space, light pollution reduction, water use reduction, construction waste management, use of recycled content materials, and other sustainable items. The Wright Farms Library is sited along an east-west axis to provide abundant daylighting. The design of the building on its nine-acre site was inspired by the adjacent park. Landscaping of the park will create a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces of the building, and will include an outdoor seating area, shaded areas, walkways, play equipment, lawn and a xeric demonstration garden
