Dairy Farmers of America Milk Dryer Facility
19,000 sq ft Addition, Fort Morgan, Colo.
The Dairy Farmers of America Milk Dryer Facility is an addition to the Evaporation Plant also constructed by Fransen Pittman. The dryer addition allows the plant to dry and store a 30-day accumulation of product. A 70-foot structural steel tower supports a complex array of processing equipment, stainless steel piping and controls. The drying chamber is capable of processing one million pounds of milk per day. The process building is a combination of structural steel, structural masonry and insulated metal panels.
