North Metro Fire Department, Station #66

11,770 sq ft New Facility, Broomfield, Colo

North Metro Fire Station 66 is home to three shifts of five firefighters. The station’s emergency equipment includes an ambulance and a 100-ft aerial platform truck that responds to all North Metro structural fires. Located within the District’s rapidly growing northern corridor, Station 66 was built to provide response to the Northwest Parkway. The station structure is a combination of wood, steel and Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU). The building has offices, staff living quarters and a kitchen. The station’s tower is used for rescue training and equipment storage and care.
