The Boy Scouts Denver Area Council Headquarters Facility
29,995 sq ft Tenant Improvement, Lakewood, Colo.
Fransen Pittman completed a fast-track tenant improvement for the new Denver Area Council headquarters in Lakewood. The Council sold their existing facility and had limited time to find new space and relocate their entire headquarter operations. When they found a 29,995 sq ft, two story building in Lakewood, Fransen Pittman had just three months to strip the building to its core and shell and rebuild the space.The completed facility, once dark and aesthetically outdated, was recast with modern finishes and brightly illuminated work space. The team removed the aged building systems and installed a new HVAC system. A new fire alarm system tied the Boy Scouts’ facility with the adjoining office building. All of the building’s offices and partitioned work spaces – including 15 on the ground floor and 61 on the second level – were completed on schedule.
