DENVER, CO— American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Colorado component appointed John Pittman to a two-year term as its Professional Affiliate Director. Pittman is the co-founder and president of Fransen Pittman General Contractors. In this key role, Pittman will represent the voice of non-architect members of the organization, and join the board in its job of providing strategic direction for AIA Colorado.
“John came highly recommended from architectural industry professionals and we are thrilled that he’s agreed to join our board as our Professional Affiliate Director,” stated AIA Colorado Executive Director Sonia Riggs. “This key voting role will allow AIA to gain additional perspective from the construction side of the industry.”
AIA Colorado represents architects and others throughout Colorado and unifies the four local chapters of The American Institute of Architects within Colorado. One of AIA Colorado’s primary goals is to build relationships among clients, the construction industry and architects.
