Fransen Pittman General Contractors was recognized by the National Associated General Contractors (AGC) for achieving a Zero Lost Workday Incidence Rate in 2009.
AGC recognizes contractor members for excellence in safety through its National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) program. The program is an excellent opportunity for AGC members to evaluate their safety record against other members of similar size and construction type across the country.
“Fransen Pittman has established an award winning Safety Program that includes a combination of training, inspections, audits and formalized reporting processes,” said Tim Williams, Fransen Pittman’s vice president and general superintendent of field operations. “I am extremely proud of our field and office teams’ ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions.”
AGC also recognized Fransen Pittman for its participation in the Colorado Stormwater Excellence Program (CSEP) for 2009. CSEP is the first industry-standardized Environmental Management System (EMS)-based compliance program of its kind in the nation. CSEP includes voluntary self-policing and minimal regulatory oversight, making it a truly unique program.
"We embraced this program when it began in 2005, and it’s become part of the culture of our firm," commented Williams.
